This is a 13.25" Drummers Practice Pad. It incorporates a 12.5", quarter inch thick gum rubber surface on a 5/8" thick, counter top grade, particle board base. We use particle board so there is no warping, the pad sits securely on a drum or any flat surface. The large 13.25" base fits nicely within the rim of any 14" snare drum without bouncing or moving off center. The firm fit also gives a clean soft sound from the drum itself, with excellent rebound and quiet response. The pad is large enough that it can be used with any clamping snare stand without a drum.
